Enquiries and proposals

We use the information you submit to review your invitation or project and follow up with you. This processing supports steps towards a potential contract at your request or, for enquiries on behalf of businesses, our legitimate interest in responding and managing that relationship. Required fields are necessary to receive and assess your enquiry. Team members only access the information needed for their role. People make the decisions about invitations and investments.

Newsletter and measurement

Newsletter signup is your choice and is separate from other forms. ActiveCampaign manages subscriptions. You can unsubscribe using the link in each email. Google Analytics measurement and Meta advertising only activate after you accept their respective purposes. You can change your choice in Privacy preferences. Your choice is saved for six months.

Security and providers

Vercel hosts the website and Supabase stores data and manages access. Resend and WAHA send internal enquiry alerts without contact details or pitch text. Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical signals, such as IP addresses and browser information, to limit automated submissions. Cloudflare also processes those signals to improve bot detection under its policy. Contact details and pitches are not sent to the AI models used for editorial production.

Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Transfer arrangements are described in their data processing terms, including standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions where applicable. You can request information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

Retention

We retain invitations and proposals without further activity for 12 months after the last contact. We review active enquiries while the relationship continues. Legal obligations or the defence of legal claims may justify retaining specific information.

Newsletter subscriptions remain active until you unsubscribe. After cancellation, a minimal record may be retained to respect your objection and demonstrate your choices. Backups have restricted access and are not used to resume contact with people who requested deletion.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing where applicable. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier processing. Use the enquiry form, identifying your request as a privacy matter, or the address above. We may request proportionate information to confirm your identity. We normally respond within one month. You can complain to Portugal’s Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados.
